- Keep it simple – one message per page clearly answering the question “what’s in it for them?” to continue reading — written using words, grammar and syntax for about a Grade 7 level;
- Get connected as soon as possible – lead your visitor towards a call to action – buy now, ask a question, subscribe to a newsletter; and
- Build a relationship – it may take 3 or 4 visits to your site before visitors take action, and that usually means they come back, each time, digging deeper for more information about you or proof that your products and/or services deliver because THEY WANT TO BELIEVE– allow the conversation to become more personal and intimate the deeper they dig and pepper every page with relevant testimonials from people just like them.
