Benchmark Maintenance Services Inc. was founded by John Lambert in 1994, offering the industrial market millwrighting services of machinery installation or re-installation of rotating machines. Along with these services, John offered training in installation, shaft to shaft alignment and condition monitoring.

From there, we continued to grow and expand and became, and still are, Canada’s Master Distributor of Easy-Laser Alignment and Measurement systems, selling across the country directly and through partners and sub-distributors.

At DIT we are interested in how to get through to people’s minds, how to position a product or service and break through the noise. 

One of our founders, Rob Ragusa, started out early in the internet industry and has the belief that you need to think differently to get different results. He wanted to create a company that delivered web solutions that excited people – that captured their imagination and allowed them to think bigger than they ever thought possible about their products, their business and even themselves.

To do that he partnered with Louie Pateropoulos, a 30-year veteran marketing professional – and a true people person.  Louie brought his traditional marketing expertise as well as a knowledge of public relations and an understanding of people in general. Together they created a team of incredible thinkers and doers – people who lived beyond what’s possible, right now.
