Celine Dion, born Céline Marie Claudette Dion, was born on March 30, 1968, in Charlemagne, Quebec. Born into a large family, Dion emerged as a teen star in Canada, with a series of French-language albums during the 1980s.

My current singing teacher is always relaying to me that singing is the art of communication and that you really have to communicate to your audience. You only have to watch Celine singing to see she gets emotional, she wears her heart on her sleeve, and really conveys her message to her whole audience.
