Toronto Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

There's no point having a website if people can't find it.

So how do you get people to your site? A little technique called SEO. Search engine optimization is a series of strategies that helps your site rank higher in search results — so people find you first. So when someone searches for "dog grooming Vancouver" or "dentist in Etobicoke" (or whatever and wherever your business is) your site will be high up on their results.

Toronto Search Engine Optimization techniques:

  • We write the clean, standards-compliant code that search engines love.

  • We use a wide variety of strategies to incorporate keywords. And we can recommend the right keywords — you won't get buried underneath the ones everyone else is using.
  • Web page address names include keywords, too.
  • We install Google Analytics and Google Site Map to increase the rate of web page indexing and allow statistical tracking.
  • We offer helpful advice to help you boost your rankings even more — anything from pay-per-click advertising to content creation via a blog or twitter account — after all, we've been doing this since SEO was invented, and we know how to get your site ranked higher.

SEO explained

Not sure what Search Engine Optimization is? Here's a quick overview.

Each search engine (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) compiles a list of web pages which are ranked by relevance when a search is performed. To get that information, they research individual web pages with an automated program called a web crawler. It crawls entire sites, jumping from page to page through the links, and records the text on each page so that it can be ranked when someone performs a search using specific keywords. The higher your ranking in a search engine results page, the better your visibility is on the web.
