The Challenge
The Scarborough Hockey Association (SHA) is a club with a 50-year history. They asked Digital Ink Technologies to design a new logo that reflects that proud heritage. They also engaged us to build a web site that would:
- Offer parents and players secure, easy access to the latest information such as standings, suspensions, tryouts and schedules.
- Be easy and inexpensive to update without technical knowledge.
- Save the organization money by offering PDFs as an alternative to printed rule books.
It's great having a web-based resource for the players and their parents. It's easy to updated the info, even for those of us who don't know a lot about computers. Thanks, DIT, for bringing the SHA into the 21st century!

The Solution
In addition to designing a logo that's the basis of a solid new brand, we built a great-looking, cost-effective site that anyone can use. A robust system and a custom-designed CMS make it easy for league administrators to enter in standings, suspensions, tryout info, schedules, etc. in a secure area. They can also print standings and post them in the arena. Because of the easy-to-use content management system, parents and players always have access to the most up-to-date information.
The Result
The new logo and professional-looking site boost team pride and increase communication and efficiency. A central source for soft copies of rule books has saved significant printing costs. Online traffic has increased exponentially. Parents and players love having easy access to accurate, current information.
